Roxs brings great music outdoors

"We added 4 Roxs around the pool a couple of weeks ago and have no regrets. Since the speakers are on our 3rd zone we also needed to add an amplifier and Speakercraft outdoor volume controls. We had the Geek Squad install the speakers (you’ll also need to buy speaker wire that you can bury in the ground). It’s like being at a concert (we can play from satellite radio/TV, ipods, DVDs, radio). We were previously listening from a boombox and there is no comparison to the sound that comes from the speakers. I’ve gone over to our neighbor’s house and you can barely hear it when we’re rocking. If you’ve done your research you’ll already know that Speakercraft has a great reputation and a lifetime warranty. The only issue (and very minor at that) is that the rox stand out in a couple of our landscaping beds and we’ll need to add plantings to make it look more natural. The speakers themselves look like natural rock. The Geek Squad couldn't bury the cables so we had to cover with rocks or mulch ourselves (not a big deal)."
Quality Sound and Blends in with landscaping

"It is suprisingly very load and clear sounding. In fact I bought two of them to get more sound on an extended deck area and the sound was too load and the neighbors complained so I am returning one of them. It is also very well built and looks like a rock. Guests had no idea where the sound was coming from. I had to point the rock out to them and tell them it is a speaker otherwise they wouldn't believe me."
